Site Offline Posted by Calix on 04 Oct 2008 18:48
I apologize for this, starting next week, the site may be offline indefinitely. I am awaiting a letter from PayPal so that I can unlimit my account, but until then, the webhost will have a freeze on our account until we renew payment. As soon as I receive the letter, I can renew payment immediately, and since the host is already processing the transaction, I cannot simply use a creditcard over PayPal, nor can I ask any other admin to pay and I'll just repay them. So, if the site goes offline, we'll just have to wait until I receive my letter.

During this time, a backup site will be put online at http://ww2.mushroomgames.com:8080/forum/ but it will not be up until this site is offline.

[EDIT] Since this is front page news. I thought it needed that, this is now no longer true. Please click the comments link for more info.

Logo Posted by DJPieSlice on 01 Sep 2008 19:37
Ok, I started working on our logo. I decided to make the logo based on the whole studio, not the game. This state is just temporary until we get some basic concept of the game.

Please tell me if you think anything looks weird.

Here is my first try:

My first try.

Homepage news Posted by Calix on 21 Aug 2008 21:57
Well, I've stated before that I hated how plain the news looked on the new layout and due to that fact, I decided to spruce up the news layout a little bit. For one, I added avatars to the post (so any admin who posts a news topic that does have an avatar will be clearly distinguishable on the homepage). Second, I changed up the layout a little.

So what do you think? Better or worse? Any additional changes needed (ignoring the archives, I'm still working on that)?

PS. I did forget to mention, I'm back in town. So....I'm back! I didn't win very much this trip though. Only came home $15 richer.

Download Forum Problems Posted by Calix on 31 May 2008 12:21
I just noticed that regular users were having problems downloading from the Downloads forum. This has been fixed and you should now be able to properly download things there.

OK as of today, I am ending support of Win95/Win98/Win98se/WinMe. Reasons for this, I no longer have the means to test on these operating systems nor do I have a low spec machine anymore. Therefore here are the following system requirements to use any product supplied by us. If you use a lower end machine and experience little to no problems (Game FPS must be >= 30) please post here and we may change the requirements.

Minimum System Requirements
  • Operating System: Windows 2000
  • Processor: 800 Mhz
  • Memory: 128 MB
  • Graphics Card: 32 MB, Direct3D 8 Capable
  • Sound Card: DirectSound Capable Audio Device (temporarily)
  • DirectX Version: 8.0
  • Disk Space: ??? (Too soon to tell)
  • Internet Access: Highspeed Internet Connection (anything better than dial-up)
